The 40ft Flat Rack shipping container is a heavy-duty transport solution specifically designed for oversized, bulky and heavy cargo that cannot be accommodated in standard enclosed containers. Featuring removable and foldable side walls, this container provides a highly versatile open-platform configuration suitable for industrial logistics and specialised freight transport.
Constructed from durable Corten steel, the flat rack container offers excellent resistance to corrosion, harsh weather conditions and demanding transport environments. The reinforced steel or heavy-duty timber flooring is engineered to support substantial loads and industrial equipment.
The two removable side walls can be folded down onto the base platform, creating a fully open loading area for cargo such as vehicles, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, industrial components, steel structures, logs and oversized freight. The side walls may also be used in upright position to help stabilise and secure transported goods.
Its open design allows loading from the sides, ends or top using cranes, forklifts or other heavy lifting equipment, making it ideal for specialised cargo handling operations.
