The 20ft Open Side shipping container is designed with full side access, making loading and unloading faster, safer and more convenient for oversized or difficult-to-handle cargo. Featuring double side-opening doors along one side and standard end doors, this container provides complete lateral access without a central post obstruction.
Robust, versatile and highly adaptable, the Open Side container is ideal for storage, transport and conversion projects. Its flexible design makes it particularly suitable for retail units, pop-up shops, exhibition stands, catering units, workshops, terraces, additional living space and bespoke container modifications.
Manufactured from durable CORTEN steel, the container is built to withstand demanding environments while remaining wind and watertight. The unit is fitted with a 28mm marine plywood or bamboo floor with anti-slip coating, multiple tie-down points, ventilation openings and an integrated lockbox for enhanced security.
The side-opening doors open externally to 270°, allowing completely unobstructed access along the side of the container. Forklift pockets are included for easier handling and transportation.
Available in both new and used condition, these containers are suitable for storage, import/export operations and multimodal transport. Used units are supplied with a valid CSC plate for export use.
